“Is the London Bagel breakfast a true story?”
“It’s a London bagel, so I’m full of love.”
Samsung Electronics 2030 Employees React Seriously. It’s because of the bagel from the ‘London Bagel Museum’, which recently appeared on the breakfast menu at the cafeteria. This store is so famous that customers line up from 6 am in midwinter. Celebrities such as broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung and Tiffany, and comedian Kim Jun-ho are also ‘open-run’ (waiting before the store opens).
The Samsung cafeteria is famous for providing three free meals to its employees. Here, the menus of representative restaurants in Korea are also being uploaded, and the staff are very well received.
According to the industry on the 3rd, from last month until recently, bagels from the Bagel Museum in London were served as breakfast (take-out) menu먹튀검증 items at the cafeterias of Samsung affiliates operated by Samsung Welstory. Subsidiaries that provided bagels include Samsung Electronics (Pyeongtaek, Hwaseong, Suwon, etc.), Samsung Display, Samsung SDS , Samsung SDI , Samsung C&T (construction division), and Samsung Engineering.
This breakfast menu, which was served by bundling coffee with pretzels, figs, and basil bagels, quickly ran out after rumors spread among the 2030 employees. Employees’ proof shots were also uploaded one after another.
Samsung Welstory has been looking for popular menus targeting employees of the MZ generation. In the midst of this, I chose the London Bagel Museum and drew a great response. Wellstory also joined hands with ‘Saeng Augustin’, ‘Seokgwan-dong Tteokbokki’, ‘Dildo’, ‘Potato Field Potato Bread’, and ‘The Alley’. These restaurants and brand menus were provided to cafeterias of affiliates such as Samsung Electronics.
The Samsung cafeteria has been attracting attention from office workers for a long time. On August 19 last year, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong visited the cafeteria of the Giheung campus and ate ‘woosamgyeop bean sprout ramen’, which became a hot topic. On the 30th of the same month, for lunch, I visited the cafeteria of Samsung SDS and ate ‘Cauldron Pollack Pollack Gomtang’. He carried a plate, received food, and sat on one side of the restaurant to eat for about 15 minutes.
In the case of Samsung Electronics, employees are provided with three free meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast mainly serves sandwiches and salads. Breakfast can be taken out and enjoyed in the office. For lunch, you can choose from Korean, Chinese, snack, Western, diet or vegetarian options. The menu for dinner is similar, but takeout is prohibited to cut costs. The unit price (food material cost) of a meal at Samsung Electronics is around 7,128 won. Since last June, it has risen 18.2% from 6,603 won.
In the midst of soaring prices, Samsung Electronics’ free meals are serving as a great benefit among its employees. One employee said, “The menu is more diverse and tastes better than nearby restaurants.”
